Purchases & Suppliers

From the first supplier to a price-trend chart — the purchasing app in five steps.

Step 1

Add your suppliers

Create a record for every supplier you buy from: name, contact, payment terms. Every invoice you record later hangs off one of these, so it takes a minute to see what you spend with whom.

Step 2

Record an invoice

Enter a delivery as line items — ingredient, quantity, unit price. The app matches lines to the ingredients your recipes already use, so a price paid at the door reaches the cost of every plate that uses it.

Step 3

Or scan it in

Photograph a paper invoice or upload the PDF. Milh reads the supplier, the lines and the totals and pre-fills the record; you check, correct, and confirm. Lock the fields you never want changed.

Step 4

Watch prices move

Every recorded line adds a point to that ingredient's price history. The trends view shows what went up, by how much, and from which supplier — before it shows up in your margins.

Step 5

Keep the price list current

Every recorded invoice line updates that item's buying price per supplier, so the price list is always today's. Open it before you cost a recipe or compare two suppliers — no separate spreadsheet to maintain.
